Whitesboro makes most of chance

Whitesboro made the most of its chance to make the playoffs for the first time in school history Friday night, clinching third place in District 9-3A with a 60-7 victory over Pilot Point.
Pilot Point, which called on a list of JV players to fill in for nine injured starters , was never in the game. The Bearcats managed only 149 yards of total offense against Whitesboro's swarming defense and couldn't stop quarterback Jordan Gill, who accounted for 277 yards and scored four times.
