Indians run wild over Pilot Point
The Sanger Indians scored on the second play of the game and just kept on scoring in a 56-0 victory over Pilot Point in the District 9-3A opener at Sanger Friday.
Brock Squier raced 61 yards for the Indians' initial touchdown, setting the tone for what was to come. The Indians (6-0, 1-0) led 35-0 at the half and rolled up almost 700 yards in total offense.
Sanger quarterback Dane Evans threw for 429 yards and five touchdowns. Evans, who has commited to Tulsa, was never pressured and had plenty of time to find open
receivers.
