Turnovers, penalties sink Bearcats
The Pilot Point Bearcats got off to a quick start in their season opener with Liberty Christian Friday night but couldn't keep the momentum going in a 31-8 loss at Argyle.
After Pilot Point's Beau Ewton scored the first touchdown of the game with 4:08 left in the first quarter, the Bearcats gave up 31 unanswered points to the Warriors. Pilot Point turned the ball over four time and was flagged 10 times for 90 yards.
