Cats close season with big win

The playoffs were out of sight before the night even started, but Pilot Point's season didn't come to an official end until the Bearcats came up with one more win.
The Bearcats put up a 42-9 victory over the Whitesboro Bearcats at home, an exclamation point on a 4-6 overall season, 2-3 in district 9-3A. Pilot Point finished the season fourth in district, just missing the playoffs. Gainesville, also 2-3 after Friday, earned the third playoff spot after beating Pilot Point by three points back in October.
