Bearcats break loose in second

Staff Writer
After a close first quarter, Pilot Point exploded for 35 unanswered points in the second period to pull away from Childress at Iowa Park Friday night.
The Bearcats went on to beat the Bobcats, 56-13, finishing their 2009 non-district schedule at 5-0 and ranked seventh in the state by the Associated Press. Childress (2-3) was the only class 2-A team Pilot Point played in it's non-district schedule.
