Pilot Point's offensive line pushed Lake Worth's defense around all night Friday, clearing the way for quarterback Seth Tilley and running back Jarman Johnson to turn in big performances in a 51-22 victory.
Tilley rushed fir 168 yards and threw for another 169. Johnson rushed for 159 yards and scored four times as the bearcats moved their record to 2-0.
"The offensive line did a great job the second half: they were hitting on all cylinders," said Tilley. "The second half we just came out and were able to run the ball behind them."
Linemen Cam Feldt, Ryan Menard, Will Allen, Boone Feldt and Cody Sutton - made a big improvement in the second game of the season, head coach Blake Feldt said.
