In their first meeting since 2003, the Pilot Point Bearcats were in no mood to be neighborly to the Aubrey Chaparrals Friday night.
The Bearcats posted 34 first-half points en route to a 41-16 victory over Aubrey at Chaparral Stadium.
The victory compleated a perfect 5-0 run through the District 10-2A schedule for the league champion Bearcats.
"It's been a long time since that's been done," said Pilot Point senior linebacker Karl Anderson. "It's a nice accomplishment. Our goal from the start of district was to go 10-0. We're halfway there."
Pilot Point coach Blake Feldt said he was proud of the way the Bearcats prepared and executed in the game, while having little on the line. The Bearcats wrapped up the District 10-2A crown and a playoff spot the week before with the win over Callisburg.
