 Pink-clad Cats hold off Whitesboro, 34-27 
 By Keith Magee Assistant Editor The Pilot Point Bearcats wearing pink tape on their uniforms in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month  held off a late Whitesboro Bearcat rally to take a 34-27 win in a key District 9-3A battle Friday night at Massey Stadium.The win pushed PilotPoint into a three-way tie for third place with Prosper and Whitesboro, all with 3-2 district records. Celina remains alone at the top at 5-0, while Frisco Wakeland is 4-1, alone in second after Whitesboro fell to the third place tie. Whitesboro (6-2, 3-2)scored 21 points in the fourth quarter, but PilotPoint (5-3, 3-2) added seven,and that was all it neededto take the win. Whitesboro had one last shot with about a minute left in the game, but after losing five yards on the first play,Whitesboro had three incomplete passes. Pilot Point took over and ran out the clock.
