A tale of two halves:

Two very different Pilot Point Bearcats football teams took the field Friday night in Lake Worth.
The first half Bearcats were unstoppable, building a 28-7 lead at one point.
The second half Bearcats couldn't move the ball, but relied instead on its defense to hold off pre-season district MVP DeAndre Davis and the Lake Worth Bullfrogs 28-23.
Head Bearcat in Charge, Blake Feldt, was happy with his team's performance - for the most part - but said there is still a ton of room for improvement.
"It was a big, big win for our very young football team," Feldt said. "I kept telling our kids that we've got a chance to be a very good football team, but we've got to get tougher mentally and (I think) we got tougher from last week to this week.
"But we aren't even close to where we need to be."
